Horse property in the Hunter Valley, Australia

Hi,

We currently are looking for a polo groom for the next 6 weeks, possibility of paid job !!

We are living on a horse property in the Hunter Valley, affectionately known as Wine Country, the region is a feast for the senses (particularly taste!). Possibility to explore the many wineries the valley has to offer and enjoy top quality food. The Hunter also boasts an abundance of wildlife in a world class National Park.
Within half an hour by car to Newcastle, voted one of the top ten places to be by Lonely planet, you can enjoy the beaches and the "city life"!!!

We train Polo horses and compete on weekends during the season.
We are training all our horses and ponies so help is welcome for all the cleaning, feeding, riding and grooming !! It is a good opportunity for riders to improve or have fun on trail and games or learning a bit of polo ...
We like as well to have people who can help us with all the farm work (fencing, mowing, building ...)
This is a great environement with lots of people and social activities !

We are also running a meat business, called Rare Meats, selling meat at the markets and doing home delivery.

We are looking for responsible, fun loving, hard working, honest people.
We offer private rooms and shared bathrooms, internet, all the meals are provided and we are happy with short or long stay.
