Help on Permaculture Farm near Innisfail, Far North Queensland.

Hi, We are looking for someone to help out on our farm 17kms south of Innisfail, and about 100km south of Cairns.We are weeding, mulching, building shade houses and caring for about 100 poultry birds who we are using to activate soil.
We work 5 hours a day, 6 days per week starting work at 5.30am and finishing by 10.30am to avoid the heat of the sun.
We don't smoke and there will be no smoking on our property. We cant take kids or dogs, we are not yet set up for them. The property is a nature reserve, with 170 acres of lush tropical rainforest set aside for wildlife.
We have ample space for you to camp or stay in your own motorhome, or to take a twin single room in the house. Our previous volunteers have assisted with food preparation and have helped keep the house clean as part of normal life. We have a mixed diet and are not vegetarian, although we would eat vegetarian 3 times a week. We have a home food garden we try to eat from daily.
On our day off we go on picnics to the local waterfalls, swimming holes and stunning tropical beaches. We love showing people this beautiful region.
