The best backpacker volunteer experience in Oz has current vacancies and over the holiday season! Come stay at our Beachside Resort on the southern tip of the Great Barrier Reef in Central Queensland, Australia! Volunteer conditions WILL change dependent upon the needs of the resort - we have cleaners and professional builders so no making beds or hard labour all day long but you will need to be highly adaptable as it will be using your unique skills/creativity and infectious smiley energy to creating a happy, friendly, vibrant atmosphere and helping out the Resort Manager. Help for approximately 4 hours a day and in return each day after work feel free to enjoy the resort facilities for free - take a paddleboard out, swim at the beach 12 metres from your front door, tan by our beautiful pool. You will also get at least 1 free meal a day, a couple of free drinks a night and stay onsite at the resort! Eventually there will also be some paid hours available (once we get the bar in operation and more guests) but if you need paid work this job is NOT for you. Minimum commitment 2 weeks.
