Volunteer at Har HaRuach Goat Farm, near Jerusalem!

Har HaRuach Farm is an amazing farm just 15 minutes from Jerusalem, located in the middle of the Hamisha Forest. Our farm hosts a herd of goats, chickens, shepherding dogs, and space for a large garden. We make all natural, cold process soap and dolce de leche with our goat's milk.We strive to provide the most natural environment for our animals. As for the goats, we do the milking by hand every day at regular hours and they eat outdoors during the long grazing hours. The chickens are entirely free-range; with an open coop they come and go as they please.
Help is needed with milking, herding, working the garden, and other day to day farm tasks. Each volunteer receives their own private wood cabin room. Communal kitchen, wc, and shower.
We require a minimum of a one month commitment with preference for longer stays. The work week is 5 days of work, 2 days off. Days off are flexible as we try to accommodate each volunteer's schedule.
