Volunteers would be helping alongside family members or estate employees. It would include a range of jobs and activities; some outdoors (such as on the farm, gardening or grounds maintenance), some inside (such as house cleaning, renovation, painting etc). Always something new to learn. We require individuals who aren't afraid to work hard and try new things. However, volunteers will always get reasonable time off - with plenty of time to explore the beautiful neighbouring areas. We promise work is always in a fun relaxed atmosphere.
Accommodation is in the family home or a static caravan depending on your preference and availability. We provide food and if you enjoy cooking then you would be welcome to cook for yourself and the household. We enjoy playing to each other’s strengths.
We would prefer to have applications from volunteers aged at least 18. If you have your own transport it is an advantage to you as we are fairly remote. However, we will aim to facilitate exploration of the area. Our setup is used to having volunteers who wish to improve their language and speak English whilst staying for at least a month.
We live next to the beach so volunteers can swim or paddle board (provided) in their free time; there are also many local historic sites to explore.
Previous volunteers have become family friends with many repeat visits and some have returned to visit us with partners and even children!
