Our HM is aims to make promote the happiness of guests and staff.
This is achieved in 2 main ways:
(1) Organising and helping cook the daily free dinner
(2) Organising a social event after dinner e.g beer pong, quiz night etc
Other things:
- Speaking to the guests to become their friends which makes it more likely theyll leave a good review
- Reminding guests to review us after they leave the hostel
- Managing our social media (mainly Facebook) through at least one posting per shift.
- Generating content for social media postings e.g. pictures, posters designed on PC
- Drafting responses to customer reviews on those websites
- Sending me an end of shift email summarising your shift and pasting any new reviews and your response
WORKING ARRANGEMENT
Its 5 evenings per week 3pm-10pm with 1 hours break (2 x 15 mins + 1 x 30 mins) so 30 hours per week in total.
LIVING ARRANGEMENT
We provide accommodation in a staff dorm (one for males and one for females), use of laundry facilities (to wash and dry your clothes and bed linen), free breakfast and free dinner (which you'd be responsible for delivering) and of course wifi. There is also free food available at other times to e.g. cook lunch/snacks. This includes basic food stuffs such as bread, milk, pasta, rice etc If there's anything else you want ordered that you eat then as long as its reasonable and basic we'll buy it.
