Everyday Adventures and Learning on Botebo Idyllic Farm

The project revolves around managing daily chores on an idyllic farm, where one gets the chance to care for 2 cheerful horses, 3 cozy cats, and 2 loyal dogs, as well as bringing in warming firewood that crackles beautifully in the stove. Moreover, there's an opportunity to engage in exciting projects in the workshop, for instance, developing solar panels that glisten in the sunshine. On this inviting farm, new projects continually arise. Everything that can happen on a farm can become part of the adventure - sometimes a water pump may need repairing, or it might be time to change the oil in a car under a clear blue sky. No prior knowledge is required, just a glowing willingness to rise with the sunrise, surround oneself with animals, and be eager to learn new things. No projects are too heavy; if they become so, we bring in helpful machines or put our wise heads together to solve the problems collectively. There's also room to learn traditional crafts such as shoeing a horse or trimming its hooves, all while inhaling the fresh country air and feeling the knowledge grow with each passing day. WORKING ARRANGEMENT

The work extends over 4 to 5 hours per day, 5 days a week. You decide for yourself which days you want to work. You can also lump the hours together to several hours on one day, or fewer hours across 7 days. The time you are here ranges from a couple of weeks to half a year, or even 1 year, as we've had people here before! Repeat, there are no heavy tasks; if there are heavy tasks, we help each other out or bring in a machine. If there are boring tasks, we split them up so it's a little boring each day. LIVING ARRANGEMENT

We live in a large house and from it, you can choose from 3 rooms where you can stay. All food, sheets, towels, and basic cleaning products are included, of course. Washing machines are available in the basement. There are 2 toilets, one of which has both a shower and a bathtub. Well, for those who enjoy using an outhouse, you have access to 2 of those if you choose to stay in a tiny little cottage without electricity, which is available further down on the farm. There, you can heat with firewood if you wish. If you need a special diet, you'll have to arrange that yourself, though we'll gladly help out as we find it fun with food.
