I am Gabriel Arbonès. We welcome volunteers to help our small family farm located in Montbrió del Camp (South Catalonia, Spain), 10 km away from the Mediterranean Sea and the Mountains. We are specialised in the production of high quality olive oil. With us you will have a great experience, learn agriculture and practice Spanish or Catalan. Our family farm produces high quality olive oil. We use traditional techniques for olive growing and olive oil production. Volunteers will learn the whole process of traditional olive growing. They will also learn how to harvest and process the olives into high quality olive oil. Volunteers are offered the opportunity to experience the culture of Southern Catalonia (customs, language, food...) and to live in an idyllic enclave between the Mediterranean Sea and the mountains.
LIVING ARRANGEMENT
The dates for olive harvesting are from 22 October to 30 November. Volunteers will assist in the olive harvesting process. The work starts in the morning with a breakfast break. At midday there is a picnic on the farm and then the work continues until mid-afternoon. We offer private room for the volunteer and food.
