Small laid back eco-hostel in south Tenerife beachWe are a cozy, quiet and small hostel in south Tenerife. Located just in front of the beach and a small natural park, we provide our guests with a home base for exploring the area, enjoying the year-round sun and the beach, the natural beauty of our surroundings, and all the activities that we organize, such as snorkeling, surfing, diving, kite-surfing, wind-surfing, airsoft, beach volley, or paragliding. We are not a party hostel. We also care for the environment, so we have a garbage recycling system, provide free drinkable water trough our own filter system (avoiding unnecessary expenses and plastic waste), heat our water with sun energy, get supplied only with green electricity, and have all our furniture either recycled or coming from sustainable managed forests.\n\nWe are located in the edge of El Medano town, so despite being based in front of the beach and a natural park, we are also at a 10 minutes drive from the airport, 10 minutes walk from the closest supermarket and ATM, and 20 minutes walking (or 5 minutes bike) from el Medano downtown, and all its bars and restaurants. We are also just in front of the bus stop. The place itself is a villa with 4 shared dorms, 4 shared bathrooms, a common kitchen and eating area, a garden solarium with a small pool, and a big chillout rooftop with amazing beach, Teide and Gran Canaria views. We are a small Spanish team, and a bunch of wonderful guests from all over the world, and we are really hoping to meet you and share some of the magic of this wonderful place with you!

Helping with Tourists
We are seeking for enthusiastic people who want to stay at least one month, to help us with the general maintenance of the place. Particularly, to clean, attend guests help with the reception, and cook for the common dinners (for team). Volunteers need to be friendly and willing to meet new people!
We will expect around 5 hours of work per day, for 5 days a week. English and Spanish are spoken here, so at least one of them is required, and both of them are a really good asset. A valid driving permit is also welcome.
As a volunteer, you will be helping us with maintenance of the place, and in your free time, you will be able to join us or our guests in any of the activities, or you could enjoy on your own by going to the beach just in front of us, or any of the others in town, cycle around, play music, go hiking, chilling under the sun and cooling down in the pool, surfing in the beach just in front, or anything you come up with! And of course, you will be able to meet a lot of interesting and charming people. :D
We speak English, Spanish
Accommodation would be in a shared room of 8 people maximum, with a shared bathroom.
