Medicinal Herbs Garden SFGL

Location: Maopalomas, Spain

We are looking for volunteers to help establish and maintain medicinal herbs garden / park.

Garden we will set up, for education purpose non for profit. We have piece of land where we want to plant medicinal herbs which will be used for education purposes for our clients, feeding our animals and other non for profit use.
We have machinery for all hard garden works.

Who we need?
We are mostly interested in university students, gap year students, and all who have interest in medicinal herbs, healthy life style, Eco and environment, permaculture, yoga enthusiasts, those with a health issues as we plant medicinal herbs only and educate our clients

Working time:
Maximum 4-5 hours a day, 5 days a week

We are sorry we cannot get smokers to work on our property.

Place: Land is on the bottom of prehistoric volcano, we have 6 natural water springs from which 2 are drinking water quality, Very old Palm valley, and huge hard wood pine trees. We have horses, donkeys, small goats, sheep, and large parrot birds.

Tourist are talking we are the most beautiful natural holiday resort on the island.

Location:
We are in beautiful Mountain area, South part, not far from biggest sandy beach on the island.

Transport: Public buses stops at out Holiday Resort and goes to also the beach.

Food; 3 meals /employees menu/ a day plus snacks available all day.
Hours: 4 hours a day 5 days in the week.

Your free days may be during week not during weekends.

Helping Conditions:

Dependent on the weather conditions. It could be 2 hours morning and 2 hours late afternoon or after Sun set.

Light tasks mostly suitable for females,

/ planting weeding, watering, setting up watering system for plants, cleaning, clay painting, building small clay/stone decorative structure , benches, and other jobs /permaculture/ related to the project.

For hard gardening tasks we use machinery and our staff to prepare soil.

You will have one site manager /teacher/ you will be dealing with, for all your needs and help.

Minimum and maximum stay:

Minimum stay is 3 weeks.

We take normally only 2 volunteers at time.

Volunteers will learn all about medicinal herbs, healthy lifestyle, Yoga, and sustainable, Eco technologies, lifestyle and more.

Site language is English it doesn't matter where you come from.

Accommodation:

Volunteers can choose from:

1.Camping type, in wedding tent 8x4x3 m,
2. Room Tent 2,5x2,5x2.1m,
3..Large room at Event Hall,
4..Mill house 4x4m stone clay building, newly decorated,
5. Natural caves set up as bedrooms,

Plenty of outdoor space, we are living here all days outside as it is good weather all year.

Hygienic facilities: 6 new showers, 6 toilets

Kiosk with fridges and freezer,

We have around beautiful mountain hiking tracks, forests, from black to white sand beaches, yellow, green and black hills, we are a mini continent an area 50x50km,
Good weather all year around.
We have bus stop at our main gates.
Bus connection from the airport.

We are relaxed holiday resort, our clients are nature lovers, If you prefer noisy evening social life we have no such program here for our clients or volunteers.
