Hello my dears ! We are Boa & Harald, and Harald's female dance partner for dance classes.
Help us to teach a new dance like Salsa to everybody at the beach !
The new dance is called Salsita, or Salsa Light --- the little sister of Salsa. A simplified form of Salsa that everyone can learn in a very short time. The step is not 123,pause,567, pause, but just 11111111. Many people already catch it within 3 songs !!! Just as from the opera arises the opereta -- from salsa arises salsita.

A super nice sponsor kindly makes his motorhome available, which is very simply furnished, but there is all what you need: 2 beds, which are not narrow, can also be combined as a double bed, kitchen with gas stove, refrigerator, solar power, fresh water , Hot water, sink, shower, toilet, all with proper sewage disposal, heater, electricity for Internet, very good network coverage (4G) for Internet. But you can not drive it away.
If you come alone, or as a couple, then you use this, exclusively for you. (if your male partner does not dance, that doesn't matter). When people come in addition, we put up a tent for them, and they use your shower, and your toilet. But not more. (Anyway, that does not happen often). If no extra people come, then you have the motorhome for you alone, no bathroom share. --- No matter where you sleep, it's completely free! And you can bring 1 more person with you, not important whether female or male, and not important whether she/he dances or not. It is free for both.
Now the catch: you have to be able to dance salsa! Because that's what Salsita builds on. (not important whether Cuban, LA, New York etc.). Average level is enough. No need to be a dance teacher. Would be nice if you briefly reported how many songs you have danced already, aproximately, etc.
My wife does not mind that; she is not a dancer type person. She gets dizzy at the turns. I am retired (retired - not tired !!!), 1,68 metres. Age 72. German origin.
Please remember: just dance; nothing more ( !!! )
Dancing should be accssible for everybody ! Including handicapped people !
That's why we created Salsita - "Salsa" for everyone !!!! We have been making a similar contribution to the cultural program for many years with a wood engraving workshop and artichoke presentation. Together with the Municipal Cultural Department.
Location: La Gomera Island, neighbor island of Tenerife, Canary Islands, Spain.
The whole island is very varied and fantastic for hiking!
Diameter of the island: 25 km. There is a public bus to the beach. --- Hitchhiking posible -- not dificult, not easy.
You can stay 1 or 2 weeks! ---
Dancing 14 hours a week. (if that fails because of trips, etc., then please catch up later). 2 days per week you help out at the dance class, and 5 days per week you dance with me, Harald, and with other dancers from the closer area, if there are any at that time.
But please dance enthusiasticly - not boring! For example, the way Cubans dance on the street. You need temperament !!! This is more important than strictly according to the rules of the dancing schools.
It should be fun! It should not be considered work.
Please don't forget: just dance; nothing else !!!
Climate: As in Germany in May. (also like a cold May, and rain, possible).
Please do not bring a dog. Sorry, we can not provide the food. Please cook your own food. Very well stocked supermarket very close.
So the Salsita feet ever in the starting holes!
We look forward to seeing you !!! 30 people have come already, and they liked it very much ! You can call them and ask them how it was. One of the dance class is in Valle Gran Rey, La Playa, on the beach promenade, 50 meters left hand side of Restaurante YAYA, every Thursday (except Jueves Santo of Easter time). From 17.00 until 19.00. And from 21.00 onwards there is salsa party in LA TASCA, Vueltas, Valle Gran Rey. --- The second dance class is at a hiking track.
Many people know that ! On this small island everybody knows everybody.
