Let me tell you a bit about myself: I live in a beautiful house in the heart of Portugal, surrounded by stunning natural scenery. My life here is fascinating because my work as a researcher keeps me both busy and passionate, but it also means I have limited time to take care of the house and garden.What I love most about our home is the tranquility and beauty of the area. Every day, whether I’m walking along nearby trails or simply enjoying the garden, I feel grateful for the landscape that surrounds us. It’s a perfect place to relax and escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
I have four wonderful children who keep the house lively and full of energy, although this also means that things can get a bit messy. This is where you come in. I’m looking for friendly and enthusiastic people who can help us with the garden and also assist in teaching my children Spanish. They’re very eager to learn, and you could be the perfect person to make this experience enjoyable and educational for them.

WORKING ARRANGEMENT
We’re seeking enthusiastic and reliable volunteers to join our family in Portugal. Here’s a bit more about the type of help we need:
Cleaning and Organization: We would appreciate 1 hour a day dedicated to basic cleaning and organizing. This includes tasks such as tidying up common areas, organizing the children’s rooms, and taking care of their snacks.
Childcare: We need 3 hours a day of help with our four children. Given the age and needs of the kids, we prefer one volunteer per two children to ensure they get the attention and care they need. Tasks include engaging them in activities, assisting with homework, and generally making sure they’re happy and well-cared-for.
Gardening: If needed, we’d also like some assistance with garden maintenance. This might include light weeding, watering plants, or tidying up the garden area.
In exchange for your help, you’ll have free time to explore the area and enjoy our accommodations. Our home is your home, and we want you to make the most of your stay here. We provide comfortable living arrangements and the opportunity to immerse yourself in the Portuguese lifestyle while contributing to our daily routines.

Meals: We provide three meals a day, ensuring you enjoy a variety of delicious and nutritious foods. We are happy to accommodate dietary preferences and needs.
Culinary Exchange: We are keen to learn about your traditional dishes and cooking methods. Feel free to share your culinary heritage with us, and we’d love to explore and enjoy your typical foods together.
Free Time: You’ll have plenty of free time to explore the beautiful Portuguese countryside, visit local attractions, and immerse yourself in the vibrant culture. Discover the natural beauty and historical sites of our area at your own pace.
