This summer Lysefjorden Utvikling AS organises volunteering holidays. Our aim is to make the Lysefjord a perfect place to stay! You can come and join an international group of volunteers restoring historic buildings, clearing viewpoints and reclaiming cultural landscapes. It is hard physical work, but there will also be time for activities and excursions! There’ll be 4-5 international volunteer groups, each staying one week in june or august 2014.
Volunteer Information
You’ll be staying in the roadless hamlet of Flørli, on the banks of the Lysefjord and hosted in an apartment with view of the fjord. There is a team leader who takes care of the group and we’ll do our best to give you a nice and memorable stay using the evenings and two free days for sosial activities!
The programme is free, but you are expected to pay for your travel here.
We discourage people from outside Europe, unless you have outlined plans for a longer stay in Norway and your finances and paper work in order.
Now where is this? Flørli lies in the region Ryfylke near Stavanger, south-western Norway. It is the southern-most part of Fjord Norway with famous attractions like the Preikestolen (Pulpit Rock), Kjerag and Lysefjord a.o..
