This farm is situated at an altitude of 515 m in the area of Chiaveri, near the sea and the mountains. It is made up of 12 hectares of woodland, pasture, vegetables and fruit trees. There is an agritourism and an ecovillage where staff and visitors stay. Help needed clearing in the woods, maintaining pathways, with distribution and conservation of produce. All cultivation done using the principles of permaculture and Fukuoka. We are a group of people from all over Italy and we are happy to accommodate Volunteers who love nature and communal living. From March-September we need help in the vegetable garden, harvesting produce (including wild herbs) and making preserves, with grass cutting and hay making. In Oct/Nov there is the olive harvest. From November to March there is work to do in the woods and wood collecting. All year round the spaces around the agritourism and ecovillage need to be maintained, and help is also needed in the kitchen and with laundry. As well as working the land we accommodate guests who are interested in a sustainable lifestyle in close contact with nature. Accommodation in wooden house in winter and tent in summer. To get the most out of your time, we suggest stays of 2-4 weeks. Children accommodated by arrangement. English, French, German and Spanish spoken.
