Help in an ancien monastery and discover authentic Greek life.

From beginning of March to end of November, we are looking for a volunteer to help for general and diverse tasks, as sweeping the courtyard, taking care of the animals of the farm, gardening, preparing the rooms for the hosts and so on.... The volunteer will be involved in the monastery life (which is quite active), and help mostly Maria, the priest’s wife.Located on Kea island, this monastery is a mythic place which attract a lot of people and tourists. There is no monk there and even if it is a very peaceful place, the volunteer will not have to follow any monastic rules of living (just to be dressed decently).
For 5 hours of help per day, 6 days a week (Sunday is a day off), the volunteer will stay in a big and beautiful own room with attached bathroom and a view on the Aegean sea. All the meals are included and wifi provided
The first village is at 5 km and the beach at 3 km.Port of Korissia is at 10 kms.
A minimum stay of a month is required.
