Creative Living & Performing – A Music Journey in Bavaria

Location: Hohenpeißenberg, Germany
My name is Anouk, I'm a 19-year-old singer and songwriter, and I have a vision of putting together a global music group. I'm looking for musicians, singers and dancers, fashion enthusiasts, anyone who is interested in music, the stage, social media, music business or management in general.

The idea is to put together the group this year (find the members, get to know them and have them get to know each other, start making music together, regular video calls etc.) and then bring them all together in 2026 for about six months where we'll live together here in Bavaria, write music together, create, rehearse, grow and perform together, and share all of this through social media.

But for now, 2025 is all about trying it out, and having fun. So if this sounds like an absolute dream for you - or if there's even a little part of you that can picture yourself there, let's get together and connect!

WORKING ARRANGEMENT

This house offers the space to get together for a couple of weeks and get to know each other, and of course make music. It might turn into something more, or it might just be a good time. Living here would require helping around the house, simple things such as grocery shopping, laundry, cleaning after yourselves etc. As already mentioned, I'm living with my mom, so we would have to establish a couple of house rules to make living together possible, but other than that there is enough room for everyone to have their private space.

I hope to bring together people from all over the world to create diversity and make a point about the beauty of globalization. To celebrate our differences in culture, history and language and still come together as one unity. Coming here would mean getting to know people from different backgrounds, learning new languages and introducing your countries food and traditions to others. I'm also curious to see how making music can be influenced by culture and language, and what happens when that clashes.

LIVING ARRANGEMENT

Our house has four bedrooms, one major bathroom, a kitchen that's connected to the living room, a wc for guests, my mom's studio, a band room in the basement, as well as a laundry room, a big garden and a garage that fits two cars. Volunteers would have a single room. If there are more than three, rooms might have to be shared.

There's a forest right behind the house, and we basically live on a small mountain, so you can take really nice walks all around and get a panorama view of the alps. There's a small lake in the village especially designed to bathe and hang out there in summer, as well as popular lakes about half an hour drive away where you can also rent boats. If you're a fan of hiking or skiing, you'll reach the alps in about the same time.

The closest bigger city is Munich, it can be easily reached by train. The airport is in Munich as well, such as fast train connections to basically everywhere in Germany, and Italy, Switzerland, and Austria.
