organic riverside land and barn

Only 18 hours a week for food and accommodation and generous daily wine if you want. Possible weekly paid extra hours at 10 euros an hour depending on arrangement. Fitting out an old stone barn with interior wall using repurposed materials. some strimming burning of small scrubs. Some social media and internet marking and administration. Lets both be flexible and communicate.
Small patch (3500m2)of organic riverside land. Half already fenced half not. .I have recycled fencing ready to go and a two-story off grid comfortable barn with basic off grid services incl a gas cooker and a rocket stove on which we can cook stews and BBQs. We can charge charging phones and devices through solar panels with USB outlets.
Land , river and barn . are surrounded by vineyards so we have nature and privacy. The road runs right through land and to barn door where it ends. The river holds water, if only for irrigation, all year round, swimming or plunging most of year. Which is important in the Langedoc, being French Mediterranean. I have put in some swales that are ditches on contour that collect a lot of rain water when heavy rain and soak it into the ground and permeate the soil.
I am fortunate that there is a large rainwater catchment area uphill from the barn and land so I can capture most of the water into the swales and river.
There is good shade in oak trees where we hand hammocks and gas and wood burning cooking facilities. For me its a very special place and the French have been so willing and kind looking out for me and helping in many little ways. the small hill top fortified village (Bastide) is 3 kilometers away along the road and I have two mountain bikes that can take you there in 20 minutes. There is reasonably adequate phone reception. There is a level shaded area for two camper vans. I will share with you off grid skills like solar 12 volt electric charging systems, basic plumbing, basic woodwork, different form of cooking and some horticulture. All welcome stay two nights not helping, just relaxing and eating and seeing if its for you. I only expect you to cook food I provide and do dishes. WORKING ARRANGEMENT
Basic supervised DIY refurbishing barn, roofing, fencing tending organic land and all to do with growing vegetables, planting fruit and nut trees and rainwater retention schemes.
LIVING ARRANGEMENT
Shared helpers bedroom, private two bed camper van for couple or two friends. Average 18 hours a week, flexible normally supervised help for food and accommodation. Gloves and work clothes and shoes provided. All at ground level.
