You will be a part of a great fun team of core local staff with wide global experience and other volunteers from anywhere around the world. You will also meet backpackers and other tourists every day as part of your duties. There will be daily opportunities to exchange exciting stories and traveling tips, to practice various languages and discover Sofia together.WORKING ARRANGEMENT
Volunteers will be asked to staff the reception and help processing check-ins and check-outs, keep an eye on the security footage of the cameras and oversee housekeeping and guest requests. A lot of the correspondence surrounding guest reservations will be automated and done remotely by me, volunteers will be the more frequent in-person point of contact for guests.
LIVING ARRANGEMENT
You will sleep in a dorm with 2 bunk beds, shared only with other volunteers, if any. You will share kitchen and bathroom facilities with the hostel guests. We are in a gorgeous renovated historic building from the beginning of the 20th century right in the center of the city, on a picturesque pedestrian street, one block from the Serdika metro station, the epicenter of all action in the city. The reception doubles up as a bar with a lobby and there is am entertainment room with PS5 and a huge projector and screen that you can also enjoy, when not taken by guests.
