Smart Hostel Sofia

Location: Sofia, Bulgaria

A big cheerful hostel in the heart of Sofia that welcomes travelers from all over the world and offers tons of activities for your adventurous and unforgettable experience in Bulgaria: tours, trips, board game nights, movie nights. We strive to provide comfort, relaxation and hi-tech extras for each guest, but most of all - a friendly atmosphere.

You will be able to meet people from all over the world, practice languages and get to know their cultures. Sofia is an amazing tourist hub from where you can travel very easily all over Bulgaria and even the Balkans. Whenever possible, you will be able to join our activities and tours for free so that you can explore the magical and breathtaking beauties of Bulgaria.

You will be accommodated in a dorm room in the hostel. You will be provided with linen and a towel, and of course there is free high-speed WiFi throughout the hostel. You can also use the laundry machines for free.
We are looking for social cheerful people to help out a bit with cleaning and reception.

Sofia is considered one of the most vibrant and welcoming party city of Eastern Europe. During your stay you will be able to learn a lot of our ancient and majestic history and visit very popular places such as the Rila Monastery, the amazing 7 Rila Lakes, Plovdiv, and even our hot beaches on the Black Sea.

WORKING ARRANGEMENT

We are looking for people to help with the cleaning of the hostel and with reception. The cleaning includes changing the bed sheets and sweeping and moping around the hostel. And the reception help includes helping with checking people in, which showing them around the hostel and to their room.

LIVING ARRANGEMENT

We provide free accommodation in a dormitory that is only for volunteers. We also put in the volunteer kitchen various free food for volunteers to cook with.
Usually the work schedule is pretty light, it is approximately 2 days on, and 2 days off. That means that there are 3 or 4 days a week off, which gives you a lot of time to relax, travel around and explore our beautiful nature and tourist sights. :)
