Hello! Welcome to our Homestay. We are a group of friends working together with the purpose of improving English as a second language for Vietnam via a new method of learning English where people are fully immersed in an English speaking environment. We aim to create a learning environment where everyone lives in harmony, where everyone can help each other learn and improve.We welcome people with a great attitude and are willing to teach and share your experiences with others from all over the world to our English Homestay. All we need from you is that you are friendly, outgoing, and eager to learn. We will provide accommodations and allowance for food to our volunteers for free.
Our volunteers will be living with the Vietnamese tenants in our homestay, helping them practice English, cook with them, have coffee with them, share stories and join in community activities like field-trips, outings, etc. Our goal is to bring English into everyday conversations about daily lives, create an English speaking environment. We provide an English speaking environment. “Practice makes perfect.”
The main practice time will be in the evening, with some people having time to practice in the morning and afternoon. Vietnamese tenants are more than happy to take you out to see Hanoi when they are not busy with school or work. We organize outdoor activities, city tours, picnics or even road trips on weekends on a regular basis.
Practice time will be divided into two
Work from Monday to Friday
Main practice time: 2 hours in the evening
Sub practice time: 1-2 hours during the day (flexible)
Total hours: 2 to 3 hours at max
tenants age: 19-35
What you will do:
Practicing daily conversations, sharing ideas, stories, topics, checking and correcting pronunciation, and most of all, having fun.
Hours per day:
2-3 hours maximum per day, 5 days a week
Work requirements:
We welcome people with a great attitude and are willing to help and share your experiences with others from all over the world to our English Homestay. All we need from you is that you are friendly, outgoing, and eager to learn
Accommodation:
We will cover your accommodation for free during the period. You will be provided home-cooked meals for lunch and dinner everyday, made by you and other Vietnamese tenants. We can also take you to local restaurants to experience Vietnamese food.
You will share room with 1-2 other volunteer. If you travel together, you will get a private room.

Personal Assistance while you are staying with us
There are plenty of coffee shops, restaurants, parks, malls in the area. Available transportation: we will be more than happy to lend you a bike or take you to places. Uber/Grab is always available. And we would appreciate every useful resources, for example, books or/and studying materials. If you have any that you no longer need, please bring them to us.
You can experience culture in a genuine way, get a peek into the daily lives of Vietnamese people, something you can’t possibly get living in a hotel or a hostel. You will be able to learn about vietnamese culture through interacting with Vietnamese people and still have plenty of time to discover Hanoi, since we only ask that you volunteer up to 3 hours per day. We will also cover your accommodation and give you allowance for food.
Regularly, you will be able to take part in field trips, outings in and outside the city, hosted by us, for free. This is a good opportunity to see more and learn more about Vietnam. We will also take you out to Vietnamese restaurants to experience local food.
