Hello beautiful people. It's me Supardi, a villager who live with a wife and four kids in town of Temanggung, Central Java. It is about two hours to the North from Yogyakarta. It is located on the slope of Sindoro and Sumbing mountains.

I am the only fluent English speaking person in my family. My kids are learning English at school, but they are very seldom to practice. The eldest is on the 11th grade and the second is on the sixth grade.

Come and stay with us, You will absolutely contribute a lot for us and kids to share and help practicing English. They are shy and less confident to practice. You will help them to get motivated and improve.

During your stay in Temanggung, l may take you to local attractions such as spring water, mountains view spots, Embung with mountains view.

I may also take you to culinary street foods, local coffee, tobacco tasting. My favorite is l may take you to the rural village where you can really feel how local people live.

My friends sometimes also likes to invite you to stay with their family for one or two nights, so don't get surprised. It is common here.

You will stay with us in your own bedroom. It is simple but comfort. We provide our Indonesian food for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Mostly we eat rice everyday, we also cook vegetable, tofu, soybean cake, fritters and so on.

WORKING ARRANGEMENT

Volunteers will work in flexible time during the day for 4 to 5 hours. We prefer volunteers to stay 1 week to 2 weeks. Longer stay can be discussed and planned.

LIVING ARRANGEMENT

You guys will stay with us in your own room. Meals are provided, the same food that we have.
