Organic farm community development

Location: Bodinayakanur , India

Our farm is approximately 20acres at an altitude of 450 Meters, organically maintained and certified with secure perimeter and a micro climate, tucked into the Devine and serene foothills of the western ghats, our backyard @ 4 km rises 1900 MSL into the clouds . NH85 (4.5 km from the farm)crawls up the mountain in a 15 km / half hour drive through the west forest on the edges of mathekettan shola national park bordering Kerala in Tamilnadu ,south of India
The Farm is in the process of setting up an international community homestead a place for like minded people ,young ,retired ,couples and singles who are enthusiastic and wish to participate in a true “freedom community”build project , which needs to be executed with the understanding that
it is easier said than done .8 teams as couples or individuals are to be forerunners of this project.

We welcome volunteers ,enthusiasts ,freelancers with technical abilities and capabilities wishing to participate at various levels and areas as we are looking towards a small but functional R&D operation which could keep us busy and be helpful and fruitful for associates ,members ,local community and humankind as a whole

WORKING ARRANGEMENT

Any activity other than idling , if our body is not working our minds should be perusing the next goal .The possibilities are numerous and anything new is a welcome R&D .plenty of activities according to liking and ability can be discussed , technical or non technical .

LIVING ARRANGEMENT

The existing farm house were I live has 2 bedrooms with attached toilets and 4 single beds can accommodate 2 to 3 people ready to share . Living,dining and Kitchen with all basic amenities.
There is an another accommodation with 4 external toilets and kitchen facility and can accommodate 6 people.Possibilities for camping if someone wants to live with Mother Nature.

All provisions are available in house , we generally do a weekly purchase which replenishes the stock .I cook my food and can assist any new cooking enthusiasts .on a normal basis’ we can all just participate with passion and experiment food ,after all What would have happened to the world if we didn’t have our stomachs.

Keeping the house clean is everybody’s job , washing machine ,internet ,consumables all to be used ideally.We believe misuse to be the culprit.The general idea is to improve our ability to understand requirements and act accordingly or to include certain practices which can make ourselves fall in line.Seeing is believing and doing is experiencing.
