Your work at Odiyan will include beautifying and maintaining extensive gardens, huge Temples and multitudinous varieties of sacred art. You will work out on the land, in the veggie gardens and in the shop. You will assist making Buddhist statues in the foundry, care for animals, cook vegetarian food and help with food preservation in our gigantic kitchen. At Odiyan everyone does everything!
You Receive:
• Housing with one roommate, vegetarian meals, and a living allowance of $150 per month, $216 after one year.

You Give: Your time and energy
Odiyan is currently seeking volunteers who can participate for a minimum of six months or more. You must be strong and healthy and fit, able to lift up to 40-50 pounds, bend, and be on your knees.
Although Odiyan has its foundations in Tibetan Buddhism, no religious affiliation is required to join the team. The ideal volunteer is open-minded, self-reflective and ready to engage deeply on both inner and outer levels. Couples are welcome (although Odiyan cannot accept children or animal companions).
Previous experience is preferred, but not required. You must be eager for a hard-working wholesome lifestyle of service.
We also have an interest in those with computer, writing, art and design skills.
