Christian based organization with two positions available: 1) General maintenance including yard work, gardening, painting and overall upkeep of the property. 2) To support young adults with autism to live independent lives with real friendship such as cooking, laundry, all activities of daily living. Most of our volunteers stay three to six months.WORKING ARRANGEMENT
People really enjoy their time here. Very social environment but also plenty of time for alone time. Most work in morning and evenings supporting adults in residence with activities of daily living. Cooking, laundry, bathing, cleaning and other chores around the house and yard. Country living yet an easy and safe walk to groceries, restaurants, food trucks, post office, coffee shop, hardware store and a public bus stop.
LIVING ARRANGEMENT
Volunteers have a private bedroom with shared bathroom. Lively property with multiple homes. Shared meals. We eat mostly organic food. Nothing processed. We garden and eat abundance of fresh fruit and vegetable.
