Trans Bloom is an intergenerational BIPOC-
centered queer and trans cultural hub
dedicated to healing through creativity and
connection. We create programming to
strengthen community resilience, foster
meaningful relationships with nature, and
promote joy.
The Trans Land Project (TLP) is an all-Trans
and BIPOC collective that’s been organizing
since 2022 to purchase land. After acquiring
a 31-acre plot of land, one of TLP’s founders
started Trans Bloom as a stand-alone
organization by recruiting artists and activists
to initiate planning for community gatherings,
activist retreats, and artist residencies. Trans
Bloom will connect the land, the rural queer
community surrounding it, and the Bay Area
cities. Trans Bloom is in its fledgling stages and seeks help to:
1) build an artist's cottage
2) build tent platforms in the forest for visitors
3) help make a trail and clear poison oak from the forest
