We are building off grid self sustaining beautiful structures , an off grid community in Sheep Creek Alaska about two hours out of Anchorage Alaska and 45 minutes to the nearest Costco and Walmart , (smile) one mile walk to fishing and country store. You would assist in building tiny off grid home, and creating gardens , helping with animals. About 20 hours a week or less depending on weather. Hard to do anything in the rain and in the winter. basically keeping the fires going and chopping wood and clearing walk ways in the winter , making candles and soaps and art and blogging and whatever you wish to create and sell in the local country store and other areas throughout Alaska .WORKING ARRANGEMENT
20 hours a week , stay as long as you are able.
LIVING ARRANGEMENT
you would stay in a tiny house that you help build and sometimes in a tent , or tree house, or even at the main house which has all the basic plumbing and electricity. However if we are painting or finishing up a tiny house we rest in a tent for a few days util the paint is dry and fumes are gone, etc...Lots of fun hiking, and creeks, and rivers and wildlife, bring your bear spray. or better yet just purchase it here at any of our hardware stores.
