Description
We are a new organization located in Laredo which is the capital city of Laredo district located about seven kilometers from Trujillo, in La Libertad, Peru. It has an estimated population of 30,000 people. A year ago we suffered floods and poverty because of El Niño and now we are barely recovering from this tragic episode. We promote development in the community, focussing on the education of under privileged children and teenagers. We provide free English, French,German and music workshops to our community.
we believe that the education in these areas are very important for the development of our community. through our workshops we are helping our new generation related to vagrancy , drugs , etc. At the heart of our organization is the philosophy that we all have our own personal limits, but when we work together to help others we can do so much more.

We do not have any specific requirements in terms of experience.
volunteers will teach basic english through games and songs, etc.
we are going to teach volunteers how they should teach children in a simple and basic way.
To teach music you need to know how to play an instrument.
Volunteers required minimum of 18 years old.
Minimum stay of 2 weeks.
It is desirable that the volunteer before coming learn basic spanish in order to understand people local.
we need volunteers from January to December .
The volunteer will help us from Monday to Friday

Accommodation
Family Host are going to get you with much love and respect to make your stay with us comfortable. it is a very safe and quiet place.
The bedroom for volunteers is shared, the volunteers can use electrical appliance or objects from the kitchen or house (tv, radio ,etc) only we requested that after use this you have to clean and order .
the accommodation is located in a central area of the city with access to markets, shops, etc.
The accommodation is near a lagoon where it is possible to swim , practice yoga and have a good time with the nature that lives there.
What else ...
The city of Laredo is near many tourist attractions which you can visit an your free time and to learn more about the ancient cultures, including those before the Incas (the Moche and Chimu). You can also practice many different sports here.

if the volunteer wants spanish classes we can tell them where to learn at a discounted price.
Our community is on the coast in the North of Peru and has a semitropical climate.
