HELP CHIDREN LIVING AT RISK AND IN EXTREME POVERTY IN THE ANDES OF PERU

Our organization needs volunteers for our project for volunteering with children. These children come from migrants families of areas that have been declared, by the main organizations of international development, to be in a situation of extreme poverty and need ( Junin, Huancavelica, Ayacucho and Central Rainforest).We work directly with communities of the Central Andes of Peru, where the neglect and need is great. There is virtually no presence of volunteering or state organizations providing these children with assistance, emotional, caring, educational or material support. Come and participate in this wonderful cause, by helping to improve self-esteem that has been destroyed and by assisting with education. Many of the children come from dysfunctional migrant Quechua families that suffer from neglect and domestic violence that is caused by their difficult situation and economic, social and cultural marginalization.
We are a non-commercial volunteering alternative that focuses on participation and operating a flat organizational structure. We promote self-management within communities, as a means of organization and development.
Come and participate as a volunteer on this project, built with our own hands and with the ambition of undertaking transparent, genuine and direct (without intermediaries) social work with the communities.
Project duration: In 4 weeks +
Location of project: Huancayo, in the Central Andes of Peru
Class of project: Inglés Teaching, tutoring, sports, educational outdoor games, dance and theater, pastry shop.
hours: Flexible; Monday to Friday, 3-4 hours per day,
* REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum Age 19 +
- You do not need to have previous experience teaching English
- Basic level Spanish languaje
- Intermediate level of language Inglés
- Able to work in a team.
- Dynamic and receptive.

* WHAT IS INCLUDED IN THE PROGRAM:
-Accommodation free in the house of the Organization
- Free Classes Spanish and Quechua, theoretical and experiential.
- Free Course Peruvian meals, cakes and cocktails
- Group Tours guide without cost to many interesting places, such as mountains, lakes, central jungle, waterfalls, visits to archaeological pre-Inca ruins, experiential tourism to Andean, Inca spirituality, ect.
- Know the true Peruvian Andean culture, typical food, crafts, Andean
- Festivals and celebrations such as birthdays.
- Peruvian music, salsa and regaeton
- Humanely and fun cultural experience.
