Modest house on 1 acre in historic 8-family village in archaeologically rich touristic area. Help me create a sustainable eco-tourism retreat: guest cottages, shop, cafe, organic farm. Welcome Volunteers with masonry and carpentry skills to help build cottages from limestone, wood, thatch. Need to maintain tropical fruit trees, make raised vegetable / herb beds, plant, prune, weed, compost. Use fossilized limestone, traces of ancient ruins to create art- stone works: walls, paths, birdbaths, sculpture. Free time, learn Mayan, hike, visit cenotes, snorkel coral reef. Camp with own gear.
