Classroom assistant

Being a classroom assistant will give you the opportunity to deeply engage with a classroom and a teacher. This program will make you understand how life in one of our NDG school works. Volunteers will be paired with a class and aid one of our teachers in any way that is useful, whether it is to cut and glue paper into notebooks, handing out soap or toothpaste, helping kids with in-class worksheets, or homework.The long-term international volunteer program at Niños de Guatemala will be at least 1 week, and up to 1 year. You will be working directly at our office in Antigua Guatemala or in one of our schools (2 primary schools and 1 middle school), it depends on your volunteer project preferences and also your level of Spanish.
WORKING ARRANGEMENT
you will be working in school from 7:30 to 1:30
