Volunteers needed at rescue children charity organization

Location: Arusha, Tanzania

Rescue children charity organization is the non governmental organization which was established in 2021 and registered in national level with no OONGO/R/1815.
Rescue children charity organization helps and supports underprivileged children including orphans, street children and the abandoned children.We provide educational services, meals, health services, scholastic materials and accomodations for some children.We are looking volunteers who are competent and have more skills and experience in working with children in NGO.

WORKING ARRANGEMENT

Working hours:
1.Volunteers work 5 hours per day.
2.Volunteers work only 4 days in a week and get 3 days off.
3.Total time commitment are 20 hrs In a week.

Assisting with Meal Preparation and Distribution: Volunteers can help in preparing balanced meals for the children and distributing them to ensure they have access to nutritious food.

Engaging in Educational Activities: Volunteers can assist in educational activities such as tutoring, organizing educational games, or helping with homework to support the children’s learning.

Supporting Health and Hygiene Initiatives: Volunteers can participate in health-related activities like promoting hygiene practices, assisting with health check-ups, or supporting nutrition programs.

Organizing Recreational and Creative Activities: Volunteers can engage children in recreational activities, arts and crafts sessions, or sports events to promote their overall well-being and creativity.

Providing Emotional Support and Mentorship: Volunteers can offer emotional support, mentorship, and guidance to the children to help them cope with their challenges and build resilience.

Assisting with Administrative Tasks: Volunteers may also help with administrative tasks such as organizing files, data entry, or coordinating schedules to ensure smooth operations at the organization.

Facilitating Social Integration: Volunteers can play a role in facilitating social integration by organizing group activities, outings, or events that foster a sense of community among the children.

Maintaining Cleanliness and Order: Volunteers can assist in maintaining a clean and orderly environment by helping with cleaning tasks, organizing spaces, or ensuring proper hygiene practices are followed.

Promoting Creativity and Expression: Volunteers can encourage creativity and self-expression among the children through art projects, storytelling sessions, or music activities.

Providing Individualized Support: Volunteers may also offer individualized support based on the specific needs of each child, whether it involves academic assistance, emotional support, or skill-building activities.

LIVING ARRANGEMENT

Accomodations:
Volunteers should contribute $4 for the accomodations per day.
There is a special room which is self contained for volunteers.The room is installed with electricity lights and solar lights as well as water pipes.The room is big enough to be shared by 2 to 3 volunteers of the same gender.Also we have tents for those who like to stay in tents.
Food:
Volunteers should contribute $8 per day to cover expenses for their three meals, breakfast, dinner and lunch.
The food is available for all vegetarians and non vegetarians.
