Dear kind hearts,
We are a non-profit organization and here is my story. Maliasili is a slum area in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania and it is where I call my sweet home. Poverty has always been the biggest struggle in this neighborhood of about 500 adult residents. Who can change the situation? Our watoto ('children' in Swahili), our future. We would love volunteers to teach how to use computer and internet we have few laptops now, we would also love volunteers to teach English, help us on marketing strategies, gardening behind our yard, teach the children from our street in our living room since its hard here children to get the chance to go to nursery, the toddle one they can play with them, paint and sing with them Our organization have already reach a lot of people in Dar es Salaam and other neighbourhood regions like Morogoro,Tanga and so on. We have a lot graduated entrepreneurship students inside and outside Dar es Salaam.
