Help to teach orphanage at Arusha,Tanzania

Wherever you turn, you can find someone who needs you. Even if it is a little thing, doing something for which there is no pay, only the privilege of doing it, is incredibly rewarding. Arusha Charity for Orphans is an organization which gives you the ability to help a community by sharing your time with an orphanage school of Eastern star children. We believe that children are stars who need our love, care, time and support.

We formed a non profit organization that supports orphans and vulnerable children in the region. With our own energy and help of sponsors, we started our academy; a school for orphans and vulnerable children. The school was started with a mandate to establish schools in slums and rural areas for the poor children to access quality education. We offer charitable services supporting the poor children with education, schools, materials/facilities, and advocacy. We have the passion to help the needy.

We welcome volunteers to team up with us to touch the lives of these children through your skills. We are also looking for volunteers to fund-raise, donate or sponsor a child from less fortunate families. We do not discriminate and therefore we welcome volunteers from all walks of life; individuals, couples, missionaries, young and the old.

We have hosted volunteers from all over the world and therefore we have the experience in cooperating with and accommodating volunteers. We speak English, Swahili and in rural areas mother tongue Meru. We teach our volunteers Swahili too. At the end of your stay, we do a recommendation letter and also a certificate of participation in our project.
