We are charity organization situated in south Dar es salaam. It's one hour by bus from the city center. In most local families in our community there are many children and youth who have no motivation with education even their parent they are not motivated to take them to school, therefore you will see many children in the street loosing opportunity of getting education.Our main goals is to educate and motivate children from underprivileged families to have equal opportunity of getting better education.Since we started this program we saw alot of changes and the children are motivated to come and learn from our school

At our organization we run a nursery schools and education Centre where we help these children to have better early education as we believe that a child’s future success and advancement in life is greatly influenced by their early educational experience as those who have go to school early develop an interest in education more than those who have not participated in early learning education

The people in our village are very friendly and welcoming, while your here you will feel the spirit of Tanzanian people in our village since they are very passionate to welcome people from abroad

CULTURAL EXCHANGE AND LEARNING OPPORTUNITIES

Our village is very unique and the people here are very kindly . Our volunteers will benefit from learning our tradition way of life. We have many culture practiced in our community like dancing local drums , making local dress ,making hair locally, participating in local weddings, locals games and many others. Our volunteers will engage with the local people and learn our language Swahili and also they will communicate with the local people

HELP REQUIRED:

TEACHING CHILDREN AMONG TWO SCHOOLS

OUR DAILY SCHEDULE

In the morning from 9am to 12 afternoon our volunteers will be teaching children in our nursery school . They will be assisting our local teacher to instruct children basic mathematics , basic English language , help them to learn how to write and read , sports and games. These children age are from 3 to 6 years old

In the evening from 4pm to 6pm our volunteers will be assisting our local teachers to teach the older children and youth who are coming for evening class.They are learning English language, Mathematics, Science, Art, Vocational skills, Biology, Hygiene and Geography. The children age are from 7 to 18 years old

In addition you can support us in website design, our social media accounts need constantly improvement , writing new contents and improve our online profiles

We also need volunteers who can help to teach children and youth music lesson since we have new piano and guitar where the children and youth learn how to play these instruments

Volunteers can also help to brings school materials for the children like writing books , pencils, colors and other school materials

HOURS EXPECTED TO WORK
Maximum 4-5 hours a day, 5 days a week

LANGUAGE SPOKEN
English and Swahili

ACCOMMODATION
We have private room and shared room with all facilities like water , toilet and toiletries. From our house is three minutes walk to the school

Our volunteer will be saved three meals per day mostly cooked local food, we have different kind of local dishes like Ugali, Wali , Potatoes , Cooked banana and many others . Our volunteers will taste all this kind of food.

From the airport to our organization you can take a tax or uber which are available all the time.

From our village to city center is only one bus and very inexpensive allow you to reach the city center easy

To go to the beach is one hour and half by bus or half an hour by tax,uber or motorbike
