Community Mental Health and Psychosocial Support in Fort Portal, Uganda

Location: Fort portal, Uganda
This is a local non-for-profit Mental Health Organization established in January 2020, officially certified as a Limited Company in Uganda in March 2021. The organization was established by a team of Counseling Psychologists who are passionate about helping children and their families struggling with mental health and behavioural-related issues.

We believe the foundation for good mental health and behavioural change is laid in the early years, and society as a whole benefit from investing in children and families. We carry out various activities that promote psychological wellbeing amongst children and their families such as counseling, team building activities, play therapy, life skills training, as well as livelihood projects.

Currently the organization is composed by a team of seven professionals that perform daily routines including counseling, psychosocial support and community outreach.
