As a Volunteer Empowerment Facilitator, you will play a crucial role in creating a transformative experience for the girls we serve. 1. Passion for Girls' Empowerment: We seek volunteers who are passionate about promoting girls' empowerment, gender equality, and sustainable development. Your enthusiasm and commitment will inspire and motivate the girls.
2. Workshop Facilitation: You will be responsible for facilitating interactive empowerment workshops for secondary school girls. This includes delivering sessions on self-esteem, leadership, personal development, and other relevant topics. We encourage you to bring your creativity and innovative teaching methods to make the workshops engaging and impactful.
3. Mentorship and Guidance: You will serve as a mentor and role model for the girls, providing guidance, support, and encouragement. Your personal experiences, skills, and knowledge will inspire the girls and help them navigate their educational and personal journeys.

WORKING ARRANGEMENT
As a Volunteer Empowerment Facilitator for Binti na Maendeleo 2.0, you'll have the flexibility to choose your preferred days to participate in our program. During your shift, you'll engage in a variety of activities aimed at empowering secondary school girls and fostering sustainable development. These include facilitating interactive workshops, providing mentorship and guidance, engaging in cultural exchange, and participating in community projects. The program offers morning and afternoon shifts, each with specific tasks related to workshops, mentorship, community projects, and administrative support. Please note that activities and shifts may vary based on program needs and schedules. We value your commitment to making a meaningful impact, and your dedication will play a vital role in empowering the girls and creating lasting positive change in their lives.
LIVING ARRANGEMENT
Living and Food Arrangements:
At Binti na Maendeleo 2.0, we strive to provide you with a comfortable and convenient living experience during your time with us. Our living arrangements include accommodation and meals to ensure that you have a fulfilling and hassle-free stay.
You will be staying at our host house, which is a part of Youth Empowerment in Africa (YEA) and specifically designated for our volunteers. This shared living space offers a warm and welcoming environment, allowing you to connect with fellow volunteers and YEA members. It's a great opportunity to build friendships, share experiences, and foster a sense of community.
In terms of meals, we offer two options. Firstly, you can participate in communal cooking with other YEA members and volunteers. This allows for a cultural exchange as you prepare and enjoy meals together, fostering a sense of togetherness and camaraderie. Alternatively, if you prefer to explore the local culinary scene, we can provide recommendations for nearby restaurants and eateries where you can indulge in authentic local cuisine.
Our goal is to ensure that your living and food arrangements meet your needs and enhance your overall experience. We take into consideration any dietary restrictions or preferences you may have to ensure that your meals are wholesome, diverse, and reflective of the local culinary traditions.
By providing a comfortable and inclusive living environment, along with delicious and varied meals, we aim to create a space where you can focus on your volunteer work, connect with the local community, and make lifelong memories.
Please note that the availability of the host house is limited, and if it is fully occupied, alternative accommodation options such as nearby hotels or guesthouses can be arranged, ensuring your comfort and convenience throughout your stay with us.
